Review: Overall a very nice machine
I've never been able to make wild rice, it was always overcooked or raw. My first rice batch with this machine was a wild rice pilaf. I used chicken stock rather than water, and the brown rice cycle. It came out perfectly, cooked, but still had texture. We've made several batches of thai jasmine rice that have turned out very well. Looking forward to many more batches of various rice recipes. It is fairly easy to clean which is a good selling point. The cookbook that comes with it is very minimal, and the instructions are easy to follow. there are several nice rice cooker cookbooks on amazon that are worth looking into.
Addendum: 22 Nov 1: We've been using this machine to make the various rices (all very good), and started making quinoa with it. This thing really does a great job. My only (minor) complaint is that it doesn't give you a good eta until about 15 minutes or so before it is done, but this is understandable based on the fuzzy logic. I really like this...
